TUŠTANJ CASTLE, SLOVENIA | SEPTEMBER 2017

Groom getting ready in a camp and then heading to the castle to get married? We are totally up for this twist! Apart from this unusual combination, everything about this intimate international wedding was calm, relaxed and having the “go-with-the flow” vibe. We spent a lovely day with bride & groom and their closest friends and family, having enough time to really immerse into their story and capture all the little moments that in the end matter the most.

Ceremony took place at the beautiful Tuštanj castle that was built in 1490 and got its present form in 17th century. The castle owner and his wife warmly welcomed us to their – home. This place certainly has a very rich history as well as many stories to tell. It is among the few castles in Slovenia in which an original collection of furniture, porcelain, documents and other antiques are kept. That gives it a special feeling of really stepping back in time, reliving the history of the place. A lovely location to celebrate one of the most important days in a couple’s life.
